ALL-TEST PRO 31:

My ALL-TEST PRO 31 instrument will not charge.

My ALL-TEST IV PRO 2000 instrument states "BAD RESULT."  What does this mean?

My ALL-TEST IV PRO 2000 instrument is flashing "WAITING."  What is the instrument "waiting" for?

 


My ALL-TEST PRO 31 instrument will not charge.

This symptom usually occurs when the intrument "hangs up."

     1. plug the charger in to a functioning wall outlet

     2. plug the charger in to the instrument

     3. insert the reset key fully in to the instrument and count to 5

     4. remove the reset key

     5. the instrument should go into charging mode in a couple of moments (as if the instrument was just plugged in)

     6. If this does not work, then the battery has been discharged and will need to be sent back to ALL-TEST Pro or an

         authorized repair facility.

My ALL-TEST IV PRO 2000 instrument states "BAD RESULT."  What does this mean?

This indicates that either the test winding has a resistance value below 0.001 Ohms or low level current (EMI) is present in the cables.

My ALL-TEST IV PRO 2000 instrument is flashing "WAITING."  What is the instrument "waiting" for?

The ALL-TEST IV PRO 2000 instrument may have one of the following:

     1. You have an open circuit     

     2. the leads may be pluged in to the incorrect ports for the test being preformed.

     3. the test leads my be damaged internally.  Please contact ALL-TEST Pro to obtain a new set of test leads.
