General Software questions
• I am missing some of the screen. "Where is the print button in the Condition Calculator 3.0?"
• I have the new software but I keep getting an error message and it will not let me install the new software.
TREND and EMCAT 2003
• I have installed the software and security key, but on startup the EMCAT 2003 software is telling me that I do not have a software key.
• I am getting security errors during installation.
• I am getting Runtime errors when operating EMCAT 2003.
TREND 2005 and EMCAT PRO 2005
• I get a error message "User Already Logged in" when I try to log in to TREND 2005 or EMCAT PRO 2005.

ALL-TEST PRO software requires a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher.

• I have the new software, but I keep getting an error message and it will not let me install the software.
If you get the following error messge please contact your System Administrator to install the software.

• I have installed the software and security key, but on startup the EMCAT 2003 software is telling me that I do not have a software key.
Keep the key installed in the parallel port, but close EMCAT 2003. Open your EMCAT 2003 CD ROM and go to the ‘Send User’ directory. Double-click on the ‘install.exe’ file and follow the instructions that show on the screen. You can then start EMCAT 2003.

• I am getting security errors during installation.
EMCAT registers components into your computer. This error occurs when you are attempting to install onto a system without administrator rights. Have your administrator install the software onto your system. (Normally occurs with Windows NT or 2000).

• I am getting Runtime errors when operating EMCAT.
This is a Windows issue. This often occurs when there are older versions of dynamic linking files (.dll’s) or older versions of Microsoft Office present on the machine. These are normally fixed by downloading the latest Microsoft Service Pack from www.microsoft.com for your operating system or Microsoft Office. Usually occurs when operating Office 95 or Windows 98.

• I get a error message "User Already Logged in" when I try to log in to TREND 2005 or EMCAT PRO 2005.
This occurs if your computer has been shutdown illegally while TREND 2005/EMCAT PRO 2005 was operating. TREND 2005/EMCAT PRO 2005 still thinks that the user is still logged in. Caution, always log in to TREND 2005/EMCAT PRO 2005 via a different user name other than the Admin user name.
1. If the data was backed up, revert back to the known good back up.
2. Log in to an administrator account; delete the user name, and then re-issue the the username and password.
